Meet Our Newest TFS Team Member: Cindy May

I’m delighted to introduce the latest addition to the TFS team, Client Development Coordinator Cindy May! Because of the high standards set for every member of the TFS team, it can take some time to find the ideal candidate to fill a needed position. When I met Cindy, I knew she could be a perfect fit for our team and mission—and she is.

Cindy brings more than 20 years of experience in client development and relationship building to this role. Her primary responsibilities are to generate, develop, and maintain strong new client relationships to provide real-world solutions for education and industry. I’m thrilled that TFS can now expand the positive difference we’re making to reach more organizations, students, and communities for the better.

My team asked Cindy to share a little more about herself and what excites her about what we’re doing at TFS. Here’s what she had to say:

TFS: What’s your personal mission statement in your professional life?
“Professionally and personally, I am loyal and compassionate. I listen to understand the challenges of my clients and work hard to develop solutions to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their students.”

TFS: Why did you want to be part of the TFS team?
“The first time I heard Mark speak, I was hooked. He has an unbelievable ability to completely capture his audience and in a short time give them strategies and solutions to engage their students and transform their programs. Knowing that our products and services are creating awareness and changing the perception of career-focused education is so rewarding. We are helping to give students education with purpose and some incredible tools to find their focus and explore career pathways to make a difference in their community.

Mark truly cares about each and every one of his clients. His energy, passion, and dedication are so infectious. We all want to work hard to support the TFS mission. Mark also understands the value of family and the importance of work-life balance. We are all supportive of each other both personally and professionally.”

TFS: So what makes TFS different?

TFS: How do you see yourself helping TFS to grow?
“In my new role, I will reach out to those who have heard Mark’s message and follow up to implement TFS strategies and solutions. I will also work hard to find new opportunities to expand our reach and bring together education, government, and industry to unite communities and rebuild our next workforce.”

TFS: Tell us a little about what you do in your free time.
“My husband and I have two sons who keep us busy! I believe it’s important to be involved in the community, so I serve on the PTA board of our local elementary school. I also enjoy playing volleyball and golf and spending time with friends and family.”
